A friend sent me an email and informed me of a tall sunflower in his neighbors yard.
You can see from the angle of the picture, this is a tall sunflower. I would say it stood about twelve feet tall.

Hi Lewis, It is so beautiful, the yellow against the blue sky. Perhaps it grew so tall because it knew it'd be shown off to its best advantage.

Funny. I was sitting at a red light yesterday, saw a clump of sun flowers and thought.... "I need to come back and take a picture of these"
