I name this photo Mrs. Twisdale because that is where the original plant came from. About twenty years ago I started a daylily garden and went to Mrs Twisdale’s to purchase my original plants. I remember she was so concerned about the environment her plants were being transferred to. She gave me full details on how to plant and care for them. Years later I would stop by to take pictures of her daylilies and she and Mr. Twisdale would invite me to sit with them on the patio and drink ice tea. I have hundreds of daylily pictures in my archives that I took on these visits. Mrs Twisdale died last week at the age of 91. As I read the obituary I wondered how many daylily plants were separated and dug from her daylily field. Thanks for sharing your daylilies; your daylily pictures have been a thing of beauty and joy.
